Empowering Inclusion: Enabling Access to Arts and Community Events for MBIC Members

Introduction: The Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse (MBIC) is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and community among our members, many of whom are marginalized due to disabilities, age, or socioeconomic challenges. Our new initiative, "Empowering Inclusion," aims to provide these individuals with enriching experiences in arts, culture, and community events. This project seeks funding to cover the costs associated with attending various cultural events and attractions in the city, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder our members from engaging in these valuable experiences.

Objective: Our objective is to facilitate community integration and cultural exposure for our members. We aim to organize regular outings to theaters, museums, concerts, and other cultural events, offering our members opportunities to engage with the broader community, enjoy diverse forms of art, and enhance their social interactions.

Scope of Work:
1. Event Identification and Coordination: Selecting appropriate events and attractions that are accessible and enjoyable for our members.
2. Financial Assistance for Members: Providing funds to cover entry fees and other associated costs for members who cannot afford them.
3. Transportation Arrangements: Organizing accessible transportation to and from these events, ensuring all members can attend regardless of mobility challenges.
