New Leaf Behavioral Health is poised as a safety net organization that helps meet the need for many individuals who fall into the cracks of the mental health system. We provide:
Free and low fee counseling for individuals without insurance or with limited insurance benefits
Accessible mental health care, including having therapists visit with children and families in their homes to improve access and consistency of care.
Extended office hours, including daytime, evening and weekend appointments, to meet the scheduling needs of our clients
Outreach to the community to help reach individuals who may benefit from mental health care and help them identify available resources to meet their needs
A model of care based upon continuity of treatment. Individuals can come to us in a variety of circumstances; including having private insurance, having Medicaid coverage or having no insurance at all; and receive the same care. Additionally, individuals are able to stay in treatment without any lapses despite inevitable changes to their circumstances and insurance coverage.
Model of care based upon prevention and early intervention. In striving to make services as affordable and accessible for our community, it is our goal that many will seek help by choice rather than necessity and will limit the impact of mental health issues in their lives.
