RANDOLPH MIDDLE SCHOOL PTO

In conjunction with Dr. Copeland and the RMS Administration, the RMS PTO leads, supports and sponsors many wonderful programs, committees and events, all to enrich the RMS student experience. When you join the PTO, you help in all of this. Some notable objectives are:
Host Author Days. We are proud to announce that this year’s author is George O’Connor, author and illustrator of the NY Times bestselling Olympians series.
Annual Staff Appreciation Week which allows families and students to say ‘thanks’ to our wonderful teachers.
Sponsor Veteran’s Day allowing students to participate in sessions hosted by veterans.
Research and fund Cultural Arts programs that supplement the school curriculum. With our new updated auditorium we hope to have many cultural arts assemblies this year.
Finance STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) projects
Fund a program as part of the 6th grade team building days.
Plan, organize and manage 8th grade dance.
Assist and support the Student Government Association.
Coordinate and support Field Days.
Organize and manage spirit wear sales.
Research, organize and host a school wide fundraiser.
Provide hospitality at staff meetings.
Manage the School Store allowing students to purchase supplies at school.
Underwrite teacher grants that enhance the classroom experience for students. 2018-2019 grants awarded were for media arts, a new archery program, programs on recycling and many more.
