NATIONAL SNAFFLE BIT ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION INC

The purpose of the National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation is to define, promote, and support charitable programs that foster the well-being and healing of people through:
1.their relationships with horses,
2.care for members of the National Snaffle Bit Association in a time of crisis,
3.foster the education and leadership of horsemen and horsewomen,
4.enhance the welfare of show horses, and
5. any other program that aligns with the ideals of the National Snaffle Bit Association and the Foundation.

Programs & efforts financially supported by the NSBA Foundation include:
The Animal Welfare Fund, the Trainers Crisis Fund, Educational programs including the Tomorrows Horseman initiative for emerging industry professionals, NSBA Boot Camps to encourage local riding and competitive events working with national level professionals, the Therapuetic Riding/Professional Horsemen Coaches Summmit. Additional efforts include competitive events for Equestrians with Disabilities, Heroes on Horses ( US Military Veteran competitive events), the Youth of the Year award for community engagement and service, and a Youth Scholarship program for academic achievement.
