Along with our National Offices, Colonial PVA advocates for quality health care, research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction, monitoring legislation which benefits Veterans and individuals with disabilities and promoting sports and recreation as a rehabilitative tool.

Along with our National Offices, Colonial PVA advocates for quality health care, research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction, monitoring legislation which benefits Veterans and individuals with disabilities and promoting sports and recreation as a rehabilitative tool.
We have many clubs that our members have put together over the past few years that now get attendance from other chapters across the country.
Colonial Creators: This group is all about art! From meeting at museums to running a monthly meeting showcasing a project they are working on from a painting and drawing to anything to let their creativity shine bright.
Outdoor Adventure Club: This group is all about getting outside for adaptive activities. From adaptive fishing, kayaking to visiting accessible state parks, they love enjoying mother nature.
MS Group: Our Multiple Sclerosis members have a monthly meeting the 2nd Tuesday of every month on Microsoft Teams. Here they discuss issues they face and with the help of others, they find tips and tricks to navigating their difficulties of living to make it a better experience. The chair of the group finds speakers to go over new medication, home remedies and more which has become something they all look forward to every month.
Women Veterans Group: This group is all for the women of our chapter where they can come in, plan events, discuss issues and good times as well to connect with others that they do not see very much.
Gearhead Club: This automotive club is currently working on a 1962 Ford Fairlane 500 that was donated to them. They are raising funds and spreading awareness to help restore this car to a cop car that will be used for marketing at many events in the future. The group also attends races, car shows and has a monthly meeting as well to discuss their love of cars as well as plan the next step in the restoration dream.
We host a getaway for our members and caretakers every year which is now named after the late, great Scott Gallen who was taken from this world too soon from ALS. His devotion and constant smile was addictive plus he was loved by everyone he came in contact with. From Ocean City Maryland weekends to upcoming amazing experiences, we love to take care of our members 24/7.
We make dreams come true for our service men and women! With being the smallest chapter of National PVA, we do the most programs and the most events for our members plus, even have other chapters join us for events. Unlike many non-profits, 85% of our donations go right to our members. We would love to you to help support the mission and give our veterans suffering from spinal cord injury and diseases an amazing time.
