I Found Tiny Jesus is an experience-based community engagement platform that uses small, intentionally placed figurines as an entry point into a broader participatory arts and storytelling initiative. The project invites individuals who encounter these figurines in public spaces to reflect on the moment, share a brief story if they choose, and engage with a growing digital archive of human experiences centered on hope, connection, and presence.
In its current phase, the work focuses on building the foundational infrastructure for participation: a public-facing website, an interactive story map, a moderated story gallery, and clear pathways for individuals to contribute narratives or engage with the project at their own comfort level. The emphasis is on accessibility, emotional resonance, and low-barrier participation rather than performance or exhibition in the traditional sense.
Over time, the project is designed to scale into a multi-layered cultural platform that includes curated story collections, collaborative community placements, digital exhibitions, and potential live or hybrid events centered on shared human experience. Presentation formats may include online archives, visual storytelling, public installations, and facilitated community gatherings, with flexibility to adapt to different communities and cultural contexts.
Fiscal sponsorship will support the project’s early operational phase, including administrative infrastructure, fundraising, digital platform development, and pilot programming.
