New Ground is a unique agency committed to educating and empowering families and veterans who are caught in the vicious cycle of homelessness. We recognize that the key to resolving homelessness is not only to help those who are homeless now, but also to prevent it in the future. Our goal is to assist these families and veterans in breaking the cycle of homelessness, allowing them to function independently, for generations to come.

Founded in 1991, New Ground provides social work and education services to help families and veterans break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Comprehensive services consist of employment counseling, financial literacy, life skills development including parenting and household maintenance, educational tutoring, reading assistance, education advocacy, tuition assistance, and much more.
Since opening our doors, over 80% of the families have graduated from New Ground self sufficient and able to afford a home of their own. New Ground empowers our children, parents and veterans to achieve their goals so they can secure a brighter future – for generations to come.
