The mission and purpose is to provide charitable assistance and support to residents of Mansfield, MA who lack financial resources, have lost a loved one, or are otherwise facing challenging life circumstances.
West Side started with the idea of "neighbor helping neighbor" in 1890. Today, our most well-known program is "Christmas is for Kids", which provides holiday gift assistance to nearly 400 Mansfield children in need annually.
Additionally, we assist resident veterans, the elderly, fire victims, single mothers
