The purpose of the Collings Foundation is to organize and support “living history” events and the presentation of historical artifacts and content that enable Americans to learn more about their heritage through direct participation.
Following a major donation of military vehicles in 2013, the Collings Foundation has opened the American Heritage Museum in Hudson, MA -- where the collection of more than 100 vehicles, tanks, aircraft, and historical artifacts illustrate and educate on American military heritage. Over 60,000 visitors per year have experienced the museum since it opened in 2019, including an average of 8000 students per year as part of our vibrant educational program, tied directly to the Massachusetts curriculum guidelines for U.S. and World History.
