PREBLE COUNTY PITTIE COMMITTEE

CAMDEN, Ohio

Preble County Pittie Committee is a veteran-founded 501(c)3 foster home based rescue serving pit bulls & other maligned breeds, special needs & medically complex dogs at risk of euthanasia in Ohio & Indiana shelters. Preble County Pittie Committee strives to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of "the underdog". Our goal is to rescue pit bulls who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters and place them in forever homes that make them forget they were ever almost a statistic. In a world where unfair discrimination and willful ignorance can be a death sentence for these dogs, we strive to educate the general public and show that pit bull heads are almost as big as their hearts, all they need is a chance to prove it. With this initiative, our goal is to support the welfare of animals in need, even if they are not within our rescue. With the monetary support of our dedicated community, our efforts go a long way in eliminating pet overpopulation within Preble County. By providing much-needed spay/neuter services, a free pet food pantry and core vaccines, we hope to keep pets with their families and out of the shelter system.

Preble County Pittie Committee is a veteran-founded 501c3 non-profit foster home based dog rescue in Southwest Ohio. We rescue dogs from euthanasia in shelters, with a special focus on the medically fragile. We also operate a free pet food pantry and supply box out of Camden Ohio, and assist owners with free spay/neuters, microchips and core vaccines donations as our funds allow.
