Mission
Equality Connecticut aspires to advance the rights, health, history, and culture of the LGBTQIA community in Connecticut. We will carry this out by advocating for progressive change, celebrating the LGBTQIA community in the state, and supporting the state’s LGBTQIA organizational community.
Purpose
The work of Equality Connecticut stands on the shoulders of more than three decades of activism and mobilization for LGBTQIA rights in the state. Since coming together again, we are working toward building a permanent and enduring statewide LGBTQIA political and cultural organization.
