Nation’s Finest (formerly known as Veterans Resource Centers of America) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1972. We have a 50-year history of working with veterans and is one of the largest veteran-serving organizations in the nation. Our mission is to develop affordable housing and provide wraparound services to veterans and their families. Our projects offer much more than just bricks and mortar. We build homes and communities. Our onsite support staff provides behavioral health treatment, case management, workforce training and job placement, and a range of other services to our veterans.

We provide a wide array of supportive services to our resident veterans: Case management with individual service plans; Benefits counseling and advocacy; Mental health care; Physical health care; Substance use services; Permanent housing placement; Educational and Employment, Life Skills; Representative Payee; Peer Support and Advocacy; Legal Assistance, and Social and Rec. Services.

We currently have seven completed projects with the capacity to house a total of more than 150 veterans and their families, and we have five projects currently in development—either under construction or in the planning phase—that will be able to house an additional 300 veterans and their families. We also have several other sites identified where we hope to provide even more affordable housing in the near future.

We offer comprehensive programming that addresses the critical needs of veterans that span generations: housing assistance, behavioral health treatment, transitional and permanent supportive housing and homelessness prevention, and case management. We have strong working relationships with the VA, VA hospitals, and other service providers and maintain a large network of supportive and benefit linkages for our veteran clients. Our integrated programming allows us to amplify and tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each veteran.
