Support 7 is unique in that we are… • Trusted and Trained: Support 7 has a track record of more than four decades. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you live, what you believe, how much money you make or what language you speak. Trauma impacts EVERYONE and we serve EVERYONE. Our Trained and vetted compassionate volunteers have been following this model and doing the work 24/7/365 quietly, alongside local first responders (Sth Cty Fire, Mukilteo Fire and the eight law enforcement agencies in Sth Sno Cty) and largely "under the radar" for the past 40 years. All of this would not be possible without an ongoing trusted partnership with local public safety agencies. • Timely: Support 7 is always on call, 24/7/365. We are requested to respond to the actual emergency scene by police and/or fire leaders on scene and are dispatched through the 911 system. Support 7 goes to the scene of trauma. Those in need get immediate help in their darkest moments. We respond to nearly 100 percent of our callouts. Currently Chaplains are responding 31-33 times per month and the IRT/Emergency response team rig currently is responding 4-6 times per month. • Team. Our unique team includes; Highly trained, compassionate, vetted, trusted public safety chaplains, a volunteer Incident Response Team (IRT) and the “Support 7” motorhome (this emergency vehicle is stocked with variety snacks, hot/cold beverages, immediate needs such as diapers, hygiene products, emergency footwear, coats, blankets, stuffed animals/toys trauma kits for children, Personal protective equipment (PPE), Phone/computer chargers and more. • Our Impact: Practical steps to hope and healing. Leading to healthier lives (mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually) and options for victims, families and first responders. We serve all people in the community, from all faiths or no faith, and we do not proselytize. We serve all diverse, BIPOC communities and a variety of marginalized groups to include adults and children with disabilities, low income, families of Domestic Violence and crime and others ~ ANYONE involved in an emergency in South Snohomish County. Ultimately strengthening our community at large. We directly partner with several Sth Cty agencies South County Fire (including their CRP program), Mukilteo Fire, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, Woodway, Mukilteo and Mill Creek Police (and their embedded social workers) Along with the Edmonds School District on any traumatic loss incidents involving their students, teachers or staff, Swedish Edmonds ED doctors, nurses, staff victims who come in with EMS, SNO911 Dispatchers, Sno Cty Medical Examiner's Office, Disaster Medicine NPO, Local Veterans organizations, local businesses, Victim Support Services. DV services of Sno. Cty, a multitude of grief and behavioral health organizations and resources, along with funeral homes in Puget Sound area and churches in the South County community.

We serve all people in the community, from all faiths or no faith, and we do not proselytize. We serve all diverse, BIPOC communities and a variety of marginalized groups to include adults and children with disabilities, senior citizens, low income, families of Domestic Violence and crime and others ~ ANYONE involved in an emergency in South Snohomish County. We get requested to come to the emergency scene by fire and/or police leaders on scene then we are dispatched through the SNO911 system directly to our smart phones with details of where we are responding to and who we are serving and what the nature of the incident is. Last year alone (2021) we responded to more than 400 incidents involving trauma- unexpected deaths-natural, death by suicide, homicide, other fatality , house/commercial fires and other emergency incidents where victims and families have been left behind. If the responses continue like it is--we will serve more than 425 callouts in 2022.
