At Taking The Lead, we harness the healing power of horses, farm life, and community to help children and adults with disabilities grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit. On our fully accessible farm in Freeland, Maryland, licensed therapists and caring staff deliver hippotherapy, outdoor day programs, and inclusive events. Every donation keeps our therapy animals thriving, funds scholarships for families in need, and expands safe, adaptive spaces so each participant can learn, belong, and flourish.
