WSI's Transformational Healing Events break boundaries by moving
U.S. veteran war survivors from chronic self-protection to an
open-hearted purpose-driven life. This is done through a structured,
multidisciplinary intervention framework integrating trauma neuroscience,
lifestyle medicine, identity reconstruction, and relational healing
within a single codified protocol of WSI's 12 Principles of
Transformative Healing. Delivered as a three-day retreat and a
self-guided digital program, the model is designed to address the
neurobiological, psychological, and social sequelae of combat trauma
in veteran populations who have not engaged with or have disengaged
from conventional clinical services. The retreat employs a sequenced
curriculum progressing from neurologically grounded imagery-based
stabilization to purpose mapping, somatic regulation, social
reconnection, and forgiveness practice. Multidisciplinary facilitation
teams, comprising a licensed physician, movement specialist, and
nutritional specialist, deliver all components within a
polyvagal-informed, evidence-based framework, operationalizing
WSI's 12 Principles across modalities.
Only 25% of U.S. veterans access mental health care through the VA —
not because they lack motivation, but because standard clinical
treatment doesn't meet them where they are. WSI exists for the
