LESS LEG MORE HEART

Less Leg More Heart provides customized education, medical advocacy, care packages, funding for holistic approaches to care and funding for home services to enhance amputees' wellness, safety and comfort during life changing medical circumstances. This organization assesses and corrects psychosocial and socioeconomic barriers that individuals face as they become amputees and continue to live with limb loss. Hope is promoted, direction is established, resources are shared and provisions are given to move amputees away from suffering, confusion, and isolation towards acceptance, adaptability, improved health, and happiness. They are seeing improvements in vital metrics like narcotic use, depression, and suicidality by implementing their clinician-derived beneficiary relations system of intake and support that follows individuals through the life of their journey.

Less Leg More Heart has served amputees in 26 states and counting. The organization is volunteer driven; Several dozen volunteers assist the mission with their time and talents remotely.
