306TH BOMB GROUP HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION

Research and educate the public concerning the history of the 306th Bombardment Group, U.S. Eighth Air Force, during its existence from 1 Mar 1942 until de-activated 25 Dec 1946, and disseminate information regarding the Group, veterans, and the life and times of the European bombing campaign and time prior to de-activation. (b.) Provide a central point of contact to facilitate communication between individuals who served in the 306th Bomb Group during its existence from March 1942 until de-activated 25 Dec 1946, and those interested in furthering the goals of the Association. (c.) Provide for continued education and camaraderie within the membership by promoting periodic Association reunions and other events.
