PANTRY FOR ADAIR COUNTY INC

Pantry for Adair County provides food to those who are experiencing food insecurity. We serve residents of Adair County and are a partner agency of The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. Pantry for Adair County is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that relies on the generosity of our community, contributors, and volunteers.

Pantry for Adair County distributes food free of charge to neighbors in need three times a week on a monthly basis. Pantry for Adair County served a monthly average of 608 households in 2026. This represents over 1500 individuals per month. We serve seniors, developmentally disabled, veterans, children and parents. We have over 60 volunteers who donate time and energy (approximately 500 hours per month) to unloading trucks, picking up donated and purchased food, preparing food for distribution, helping with intake forms, reworking bulk food, tending a pantry vegetable garden and distributing food.
