The Rotary Club of Wellesley provides support for a number of charities, services and programs. Helping our community Focus on helping those in need with food insecurity Provide scholarships to students Programs to respond to the opioid crisis in our community Help our veterans - NECHV Supporting traditions such as: Wellesley Needham Football Banquet Supporting our youth Tutoring Programs for disadvantaged students Adolescent Depression Prevention – helping students deal with depression MassBay Community College - Providing meals and scholarships to financially limited students Middle School Writing Contest Summer Camp for Kids RYLA – Leadership training for students Taking care of our environment Repair Café - Fixing Household items for continued use Bio-degradable use promotion – to help keep plastics from land fill Yearly tree planting of 4 – 500 seedlings by fourth graders Vernal Pool Boardwalk – designed and built to allow access to conservation areas Reaching out to others - Internationally Every Rotarian Every Year – supports International Rotary programs Depression Prevention - program is now running in Puerto Rico, India and Nigeria. Siddi Community Center – Rotarian Action Group for healthcare and education
