• Q. Does Knok charge other nonprofits for video services?
A. Yes, but pricing is extremely affordable. Costs are 1/3 or less of conventional industry rates. Since Knok's inception in 2011, Knok's charity video costs have been offset by wonderfully generous donors and supporters.
• Q. Does Knok just do video?
A. Knok's bread and butter is storytelling through video. Video is the most intimate way of impacting the most amount of people. However Knok also has volunteers who design websites, produce amazing graphic designs, and take photos that rival National Geographic. (seriously talented people)
• Q. Is Knok a Christian ministry?
A. Knok does not discriminate based upon religion. Knok serves and seeks to love everyone (as Christ did really!). Many of Knok's employees and volunteers seek to follow the loving example of Christ by serving all nonprofit 501(c)3 charities.
• Q. What is the biggest misconception about Knok?
A. Knok is a very atypical nonprofit--not your conventional soup kitchen or homeless shelter nonprofit. Knok serves a very big need that much of the world does not understand; a profound lack of storytelling and marketing for charities. Many charities do not understand the incredible importance of telling the world about their impact. Many charities seek to "grow by grassroots," which is wonderful but not sustainable. Thus 25% of Knok's job is patiently teaching nonprofits how to tell their story, thereby securing more supporters for them, and ultimately impacting more people through their mission.
