The Bridge the Gap Initiative 2027 Day of Service, tentatively scheduled for July 23, 2027, is a community-driven effort to provide no-cost dental care to veterans, reservists, and law enforcement officers throughout Southwest Florida.
Many recipients face significant barriers to treatment due to limited coverage, financial hardship, or the demands of service. Through the support of volunteer dental professionals, community partners, sponsors, and donors, the Day of Service helps restore oral health, function, confidence, and quality of life.
Our goal is to provide essential and advanced dental care for approximately 47 veterans, reservists, and law enforcement officers through comprehensive treatment that may include examinations, imaging, cleanings, restorative care, extractions, and full-mouth rehabilitation when clinically appropriate.
Prior to the formation of the nonprofit, participating providers and community partners delivered more than $196,000 in donated dental care to 44 recipients. Building on that foundation, the 2027 Day of Service represents the next step in expanding access to care for those who have served our communities and our nation.
Every contribution directly supports patient care and helps ensure that financial barriers do not prevent deserving recipients from receiving life-changing treatment.
