Bros Foundation will host the Bros Foundation Veteran Stand Down on September 24–25, 2026, at Broadway United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. This two-day, veterans-only event will serve up to 150 veterans, including veterans experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
The Stand Down is designed to provide veterans with direct access to services and practical support in one coordinated setting. Veterans will be connected with employment and job training assistance, benefits support, housing and shelter referrals, health resources, mental health and suicide prevention resources, transportation support, portable showers, clothing, hygiene supplies, meals and follow-up support.
Donations to this project will help support the nonfederal needs of the event, including meals, beverages, food boxes, participant supplies and other practical event needs. Food boxes will provide participating veterans with additional food support to take with them after the event.
The goal is for veterans to leave with more than information. Through direct services, practical resources, coordinated referrals and warm handoffs, the Stand Down will help veterans leave with clear next steps toward greater stability.
The event will also provide volunteer opportunities for individuals and corporate teams interested in supporting registration, hospitality, food distribution, participant navigation and event operations.
