Oberlin Cub Scout Pack 460 is part of Scouting America and comprised of approximately 30 youth ages 5-10 of all genders striving to make scouting accessible to all in our community.
Pack 460 is a vibrant, family-centered scouting community dedicated to helping young people grow into confident, capable, and community-minded leaders. Rooted in the values of the Scout Oath and Law, our pack brings families together to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, and make a positive difference in our town.
Pack 460 is known for its strong family involvement—parents, siblings, and caregivers are an active part of our adventures. Whether it’s cheering on Scouts at the Pinewood Derby, helping lead den activities, or pitching in at campouts, our pack thrives because families of all types participate together. This inclusive energy is one of the things that makes Pack 460 truly special.
Our Scouts experience the excitement of camping and outdoor exploration, from learning to build a fire and cook outdoors to hiking local trails and practicing Leave No Trace principles. Overnight campouts and day trips give Scouts hands-on experiences that build confidence, independence, and teamwork—core foundations of the Scouting program.
Service to others is at the heart of what we do. Through volunteering and community projects, Pack 460 teaches Scouts the importance of giving back. Our pack regularly supports local causes—collecting food for families in need, cleaning community spaces, assisting with town events, and recognizing local heroes at Veteran's Day and Memorial Day events. These projects help Scouts understand their role as responsible, caring members of the Oberlin community.
Above all, Pack 460 is a place where friendships grow, families connect, and Scouts discover their own unique potential. With a focus on fun, character-building experiences, and meaningful community involvement, our pack continues to create lasting memories and strong foundations for the next generation of leaders.
By supporting Oberlin Cub Scout Pack 460, you help ensure that every Scout has access to outdoor adventures, leadership opportunities, service projects, and the transformative experiences that make Scouting so impactful.
Note: Heartland Homestead Community Foundation serves as the sponsor of Oberlin Cub Scout Pack 460 and passes all scout donations through to the pack.
