Our mission is to honor the bravery and sacrifices of those who served during World War II by preserving the Lane Victory and providing educational experiences that deepen public understanding of this pivotal era in history. The Lane Victory Maritime Center, is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to the preservation, promotion, and educational dissemination of maritime history, with a particular focus on the Lane Victory Museum located in San Pedro, California. Our organization has a profound appreciation for the historical significance of the Lane Victory, a World War II cargo ship, and its transformation into a museum.

The USMMVWWII (dba Lane Victory Maritime Center), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations support the continued restoration and upkeep of the iconic S.S. Lane Victory, one of the last 2 surviving WWII ships of the 467 built in the Port of Los Angeles and a National Historic Landmark. The Lane Victory Maritime Center is able to operate thanks to continued support via our Membership, donations, and our dedicated, All-Volunteer Crew.
