Offering a competitive platform for disabled, active or retired, members of the US military to compete at the annual NSBA World Championship Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Heroes on Horses events are a way for the horse community as a whole to come together to honor, thank and recognize the members of any branch of the US Military and their families for the selfless service they provide to this nation.
Collaboration with the All American Quarter Horse Congress has been established to provide a second national event to recognize these men and women who love their horses, both as companions and riding partners.
A 3rd national event was established in 2022 in collaboration with the Arizona Quarter Horse Association to host a Heroes on Horses event during the Sun Country Circuit annually in March.
The purpose of the National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation is to define, promote, and support charitable programs that foster the well-being and healing of people through:
1.their relationships with horses,
2.care for members of the National Snaffle Bit Association in a time of crisis,
3.foster the education and leadership of horsemen and horsewomen,
4.enhance the welfare of show horses, and
5. any other program that aligns with the ideals of the National Snaffle Bit Association and the Foundation.
