CAPITOL BASEBALL INC

The Alexandria Aces are a collegiate summer league baseball team entering our 20th season as members of the Cal Ripken, Sr League which began in 2005. We exist to promote baseball in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan region. We recruit the best college baseball players to come to Alexandria, bringing new opportunities for visibility to these athletes and offer high-quality, affordable, family-friendly baseball to the community. Through grants, sponsorships and donations we are able to keep the tickets and the cost of concessions very low and affordable for everyone. We collaborate with the community to partner with local charities and nonprofits such as the American Legion, Boys & Girls Clubs, Little Leagues and Chamber of Commerce to enhance the visibility of the great work of these organizations at each of the twenty home games.

The Alexandria Aces Collegiate Summer Baseball Team is a 501c3 of Capitol Baseball. Together we strive to build a strong and vibrant youth baseball program in the City of Alexandria as we open our doors to some of the best collegiate baseball players in the country – a fraction of whom even make it to the MLB. A non-profit organization, our main goal is to give back to the community. We play 20 regular season home games at Frank Mann Field at Four Mile Run Park. Our players run a baseball summer camp for 4 weeks offered to the area's youth between the ages of 8 and 16. Funds from contributions, donations and grants help us with over $80,000 in costs to operate and manage the team/games each year.
