GREAT LOT SPORTSMAN CLUB

The Great Lot Sportsman’s Club is a 501 (C) (3) veteran owned organization located in upstate New York. The Great Lot Sportsman’s Club was founded in 1993 and uses its property exclusively for the moral and mental improvement of men, women and children. The Great Lot was organized to encourage all persons of the general public to experience outdoor recreational activities, regardless of their race, ethnicity, culture, language, national origin, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, and to provide free access to the general public to utilize its facilities, equipment and programs to promote and encourage outdoor activities for all ages and abilities.

The Great Lot Sportsman’s Club hosts guided mountain biking trips in the summer and fall and snowshoeing trips in the winter. Great Lot also offers FREE hiking, fishing, canoeing, backpacking, bird watching and star gazing to the general public. Veterans, along with the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and local church groups use the property for outings throughout the year. Special events include a military appreciation weekend in October each year.
