The purpose of our project is to support the production of an independent short film, the budget of which will be the product of individual donations varying from a hundred to a few thousand dollars. We do not intend to make any money from the film, and the donations earned through this fiscal sponsorship will be used entirely for the production of the film and to pay our cast and crew.
Our film is the story of a young film writer who cheats in order to get ahead and ends up suffering terrible, macabre consequences. It's a funny, ironic, escapist film that criticizes and celebrates Hollywood and the industry at large.
