We're here to help both owners and adopters find the perfect match. It’s never easy giving up a dog, that’s why we promise to always ensure dogs in our program get the best second chance they deserve. We support our ‘fast dogs’, the Vizsla breed and Vizsla mixes. Viz Whizz Dogs Rescue is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit and part of the Viz Whizz Dogs community that promotes responsible breeders, education and off-leash meet ups.

Spearheading the rescue is Nicky Monahan, Founder of Viz Whizz Dogs, based in Austin, Texas, Kim Leatherman based in Virginia, Working Dog Ranch LLC a Veteran owned business that Kim operates and has over 15 years of K9 experience.

With years of experience working with dogs, Nicky, Kim and their team bring so much to the table with their knowledge and compassion for helping all dogs and giving them the best second chance. We have a group of dedicated volunteers ready to help.
