Created the unique and impactful Fatherfigurehood event where we served:
37 youth without positive male role models and partnered them with men from the community to serve as mentors for an afternoon of learning and bonding.
Worked with Texas Roadhouse BBQ to coordinate free meals for:
232 children in foster care
Share in the JOY successfully launched two signature programs:
JOY’s Crew - Provides youth experiencing hardship an opportunity to give back to their community. Through this program, the children we supported made:
1050 sandwiches for homeless
501 toys for dogs in shelters
260 care packages for homeless
68 holiday cards for children at Henderson Hospital
Furnishing JOY - A program that provides basic furnishing needs for families in need. Together with our business partner Mountain Valley Movers, we made a total of:
15 Deliveries
To:
12 families including 36 children
3 former foster youth
1 veteran

Our organization endeavors to make a sustainable and positive impact on the community through a variety of ways. These include organizing events that promote volunteerism and extending support to individuals and groups identified by Share in the JOY, Inc. as having significant needs, while prioritizing their emotional and mental well-being.
Share in the JOY, Inc. concentrates its efforts on four key areas of need:
1. Children in Foster Care: Through thoughtfully organized programs and events emphasizing sibling reunification and positive experiences, we aim to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with foster placement for children.
2. Victims of Domestic Violence: By partnering with local charities and orchestrating events that foster a sense of security, we strive to aid families in their healing process and provide them with the necessary resources and support to rebuild their lives.
3. Homeless and Shelter-Challenged Families and Individuals: Our initiatives encompass food, clothing, and essentials drives, as well as distribution events, designed to empower caring volunteers to make a tangible difference in the lives of our homeless population and those facing housing instability.
4. Animals in Shelters: Through educational campaigns and adoption events in collaboration with local shelters, we seek to raise awareness and reduce the number of animals in shelters, thereby enhancing their quality of life and fostering enriching environments for both pets and their adoptive families.
