WeReach, in collaboration with the City of Boston’s Office of Returning Citizens, provides IT Fundamentals training to individuals reentering society after incarceration. This program equips returning citizens with essential digital and technical skills to help them secure employment and successfully reintegrate into the workforce.
Over the course, participants receive instruction in basic computer literacy, software and operating systems, cybersecurity awareness, and workplace technology tools. The training also includes career readiness support such as resume building, interview preparation, and job application guidance.
This program is designed for formerly incarcerated residents of Boston, many of whom face systemic barriers to employment, including limited access to technology and formal education. Through this initiative, participants gain the confidence, skills, and support they need to pursue meaningful careers and reduce the risk of recidivism.
Support for this program allows WeReach to expand training access, strengthen outcomes, and contribute to a more inclusive local workforce.
