SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DISABLED SLED HOCKEY
LAKEWOOD, CaliforniaSouthern California Disabled Sled Hockey provides an inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities. By teaching and reinforcing the physical and mental skills necessary to succeed in the sport of adaptive hockey, we help to enable youth, veterans, and adults with disabilities to participate in a recreational and competitive activity at a level with which they are comfortable. We encourage our athletes in developing resiliency, overcoming challenges, and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships.
Growing strong since 2013, Southern California Disabled Sled Hockey provides physically disabled youth, veterans, and adults all throughout Southern California the opportunity to play in a USA Hockey-recognized hockey program. We empower youth (age 5 and above) and adults with disabilities to experience an adaptive form of ice hockey.
