The Building Futures Innovation Academy is a hands-on workforce development initiative created by SheBuilds Futures to empower girls through immersive experiences in architecture, construction, engineering, design, technology, and skilled trades. Located in Richardson, Texas, the Academy will provide students ages 5–18 with access to real-world career pathways, industry mentorship, certifications, design software training, and hands-on build experiences that inspire confidence, leadership, and economic opportunity.
The Academy is designed to bridge the gap between education and workforce readiness by introducing girls to high-demand careers at an early age while creating a safe and inspiring environment for innovation, creativity, and skill development.
