The Vietnamese Refugee Artifacts Collection is VHM’s key and most vital project. It initiates the collection and preservation of the Vietnamese refugees’ heritage consisting of everlasting memories, sentimental items, belonging and escape vehicles, which the refugees carried and used in their unforgettable journey toward freedom. These artifacts will be displayed in a brick and mortar facility for the local community as well as the entire nation to view, learn, reflect and remember of this significant event, changing the history of both countries, Vietnam and the United States.
