The fifth annual Gala, A Night to be Honored, is Saturday, October 11, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Brookfield Conference Center in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The gala will feature an elegant evening of fine dining, silent auction, live entertainment, and inspiring stories from veterans who receive services from Heroes for Healthcare.
This prestigious event gathers community leaders, philanthropists, and healthcare and educational partners throughout the state and beyond. It is an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting medically trained veterans.
Because of your generosity in 2024, Heroes for Healthcare provided approximately $14, 000 for laptops, books, uniforms, shoes, stethoscopes, and testing and license fees. In 2025, our projection to cover non-eligible GI costs for transitioning medics and corpsmen enrolled in a healthcare program is $40,000.
The aim of our fifth annual gala is to raise $150,000 to continue providing more services to medically trained veterans. We will collaborate with healthcare and higher education organizations to become more veteran- ready to ease the transition from the military to civilian higher education and healthcare employment.
