KEYS AREA INTERDENOMINATIONAL RESOURCES

KAIR provides food and emergency services such as rent, utilities, medical assistance, children's programs to individuals and families in the Florida Keys who have found themselves in crisis because of illness, job loss, family separation, or unanticipated emergencies.

KAIR was founded in 1998 by a collaboration of all of the churches in the Middle Keys and has expanded greatly over the past 20 years to provide secular, tailored and flexible assistance to those in need in the entire Keys. The support KAIR receives is broad and includes local and state government grants, foundations, local church, business, and organization donations as well as individual donations. This assistance always includes a thorough understanding and documentation of the need and also follow-up.
