Habitat for Humanity Southwest Alabama

Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama provides low-income families, affordable housing to families throughout Mobile County and we also have a Veteran's and Critical Home Repair programs. We are able to provide homes and repairs to these families through the hard work of our volunteers! Most of our homes are primarily built by volunteers under the supervision of our construction crew, which is how we keep our homes affordable!

Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama is a home-ownership program that builds and sells homes to hard-working families in need of decent and affordable housing. We are a local and autonomously funded affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry.

The Habitat for Humanity mission is stated to provide Simple, Decent, Affordable and Sustainable Housing. Whereas those goals are clear and simply stated, execution of those goals requires caring and committed people. The people that make up our affiliate are those type of people.
