We are the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camp 1466 Smithfield Light Infantry our mission shall be strictly historical and benevolent, non-political, and non-sectarian.
Said organization is a non-profit organization, dedicated to preserving Southern history by maintaining Confederate memorials, refurbishing old monuments, designing and erecting new statues, educating the public, presenting living history and assisting with historical and genealogical research.
