Over 500 volunteer therapy pet teams touch people in nursing homes, hospitals, shelters, veterans facilities, hospice, reading programs, schools and more over 175,000 times each year. Pets on Wheels visits at more than 400 facilities and events each year, and volunteers give over 14,000 hours of their time annually.
