Milestone medical outreach inc has established a skills training center in Cross River State where vulnerable populations such as widows, disabled and youths can learn vocational skills to enable them generate income and become financially independent instead of begging on the streets. Within a 6month period , the beneficiaries will learn independent living skills such as perfume and soap making, bead making, fashion and hair styling, make up artistry, manicure and pedicure. They will also be trained in budgeting, financial literacy, marketing and resource management. upon graduation we will give them starter kit in their different specialties. This program will help to alleviate multidimentional poverty in a population with 40% unemployment.
