ROOT TO RISE INC

"The mission of Root to Rise Inc. is healing and empowering survivors of trauma through the practice of meditation, mindful awareness, and yoga. Practitioners learn to connect to the inner strength they possess and gain awareness of the present through the union of breath and physical postures. From this, they rise out of mental, emotional, and physical distress."

A grassroots 501(c)3 currently serving disenfranchised populations in Oklahoma and Arkansas through yoga and mindfulness meditation classes. Groups served: prisoners, battered women, the homeless, veterans, those in recovery, and any combination of these groups. Our reach extends to any and all who need it, and our instructors pass rigorous background checks, along with required training and education in service yoga.
