EAGLE ROCK CAMP

Eagle Rock is a family building, suicide prevention non-profit serving our veteran and military families. Today's military families face multiple, long term combat deployments. Upon return home, their battle may be over, however their journey is not. They discover that their real work is just beginning.

Our evidence based program provides the tools and experiential learning to overcome challenges such as family strife / abuse / violence / addiction / unemployment. Most struggle with PTSd and traumatic brain injuries. We work with their children whose behavior has deteriorated and school performance has declined. We help families reduce skyrocketing divorce rates. NOTE: Cumulative divorce rate is just 3.7% vs. over 75% in veterans and up to 95% in active duty, special forces.! Our team pulls many of them back from the brink of suicide, including children and spouses.

In teaching them a new way to heal from the moral and spiritual wounds of war - our holistic approach includes time tested workshops and outdoor therapeutic recreation that includes the entire family. Our aftercare wraps them with resources in their home communities, while keeping their Eagle Rock cohort together.

Secluded locations that host our retreats break the cycle of what's happening at home and lets them focus on their healing process.
