Open Mondays and Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm
Open Saturday from 9am to 11am
Participants eligible to visit once a week

Our Care and Advocacy program offers:
Crisis intervention, assessment ans referrals
Case Management
Enrollment of clients in State programs including Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) and health insurance with Access Health CT and Department of Social Services (DSS)
On site education classes and outreach for general health care, emplyment, substance abuse, and mental health treatment from partnerinf agencies including the Veterans Administration
Budgeting advice and strategies
Information on job openings, apartment listings, programs, community events, and weather emergencies
Clothing, hygiene supplies, and men's and women's showers
Household items for people moving into a new place
Phone, fax, computer and mail reception available
Bus tickets (for example appointments, jobs, shelters, family reunification)
Emergency financial assistance
Pet food
On-site access to health care on alternate Monday mornings provided by Generations Family Health Center in the Backus Hospital medical van
