The Indiana State Games hosts Olympic style sporting events annually for those ages 50 and over to compete in recreational or competitive sporting events. For a very low registration fee, participating adults can select from up to 25 sporting events, including mental games such as trivia and card playing. Every even year the competition is a qualification for the National Senor Games. The top four finishers in each age sport, gender, and event, can compete in the National Senior Games in the odd year along with 13,000 other athletes from across the nation.

• 1120 Individual Athletes participated
• 45% of the registered athletes were NEW to the ISG
• Over two thousand volunteer hours from 200 volunteers helped make the games possible
• Average age of participating athletes – 66 Ave age Female – 63 Ave age Male - 68
• 58% of the athletes were Male and 42% Female
• 21% of the athletes are Veterans of the United States
• 141 Indiana Athletes competed in the National Games held earlier in the year bringing home 86 National medals from all competing athletes. Indiana finished 23rd in the Nation
• Largest events: Pickleball, Track & Field, Cycling, Shuffleboard, Table Tennis and Bowling
• New events: Power Lifting – what a hit!
Athletes that participate are from the local area, region, state, and from all over the country. We host an annual event offering both recreational and competitive events. Competition is in five-year age increments; 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and so on… Winners receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
Indiana State Games is actively seeking support in our local community. We are 95% volunteer run. Thank you for your consideration! The Indiana State Games is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit. We receive no funding from state or government funds. We make every penny count!
