TYRONE AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY

We are a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit public library. We provide free Wi-Fi access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as public computers for use by patrons. We provide space for WIC, OVR, veterans’ groups, and other clubs and agencies for appointments and meetings. We offer a variety of educational and fun programs for children, teens, and adults including storytimes, book clubs, meetups, and a Veteran’s social group. We offer printing, faxing, scanning, copying, and laminating. We assist and print vehicle registration renewals, license renewals, and other vehicle documents. We provide space for WIC, OVR, veterans groups, and other clubs and agencies for appointments and meetings. We offer access to a wide range of electronic resources through our databases, these include Cloud Library, Hoopla, Power Library, Newspaper Archives, and Ancestry. We provide local history services to find obituaries, family announcements, and other articles from the past. We lend a variety of things besides books, including Wi-Fi Hotspots, Free Family Passes to the Discovery Space and Fort Roberdeau, Stay Sharp Memory Kits, and STEM Kits. We also have scavenger hunts and take home craft kits.
