CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA FOOD BANK

No one should be hungry. Central Pennsylvania Food Bank provides fresh and healthy food to more than 200,000 families and individuals living with hunger in central Pennsylvania. We distribute more than 46 million pounds of food, grocery products, and fresh, healthy produce, equivalent to more than 38 million meals, every year to more than 1000 soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries in 27 central Pennsylvania counties. With programs focused specifically on youth, senior, and military and veteran communities, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank recognizes the diversity of food insecurity experiences in Central Pennsylvania and is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable charitable food system to achieve our Bold Goal which states “By 2025, our collaborative network will provide access to enough nutritious food for everyone struggling with hunger in each of the 27 central Pennsylvania counties we serve, and we will convene and nurture partnerships to make progress toward ending hunger.”
