TAILS OF HOPE FOUNDATION INC

Tails of Hope Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 federally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to serving America's National Security K9 Teams. Among Tails of Hope’s on-going activities are supporting Military Working Dog (MWD) teams deployed worldwide with K9 tactical equipment, gifting K9s to police, and tactical equipment and USPCA Region-7’s Canine Counterterrorism Operational First Aid Kits™ (COFAKs™) to the diverse continuum of security K9 teams serving in the US.

We help reunite retired MWDs with their battle buddies, arrange for and support “Final Walks”, train and gift service dogs for/to disabled veterans and secure advanced veterinary care for active and retired K9 teams. Our K9s In The Classroom™ program educates youth about canine career opportunities ranging from architect and aviator, to breeder, handler, trainer, to veterinarian - with an emphasis on bridging police and community relationships.

Tails of Hope Foundation hosts high level specialty educational / awareness programs annually, including the 2011 – 10th Anniversary 911 National K9 Recognition Ceremony, the 2012 inaugural MWD contingent in the New York City Veterans Day parade, the inaugural 2013, and ongoing, K9 Veterans Day of Observance ceremony for the nation and New Jersey and our annual co-hosted MWD Holiday Deployment Drive.

Tails of Hope Foundation’s core mission is to support, raise visibility of, and educate the public about, national security and service K9 teams - while preparing future generations to fill tomorrow's K9 careers.
