The VVA 704 Mission Statement The Cayuga County Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Gold Star/BlueStar Mothers Memorial are created for the express purpose of he;ping our Veteran Community and. the Great Community and their family members heal from the terrible scars of their Vietnam experiences that they have endured. Parents, family members and our veterans have a personal and unique connection to the Memorial/. The Memorial teaches all generations about the realities, the human costs and the enduring impacts resulting from military service and sacrifice to our nation. The Monuments are also quiet and reverent location where families and loved ones may visit in silence or in allowing for a celebration of life ceremony to take place for community members and well as their Veteran families, The Monuments help the VVA 704 live up to the credo that “No soldier will be left behind and forgotten by our citizens and a grateful nation.” The Monuments l serve to educate all who visit and provide a sense of closure for many who visit..
THE VVA 704 is a Veteran's Service Organization that provides any and all support services to Veterans throughout Cayuga County.
We do not limit our activities just to the Vietnam Veterans but soldiers and their families from all conflicts.
