WILDERNESS HEALING PROJECT
DUBOIS, WyomingThe Wilderness Healing Project is dedicated to leveraging the healing power of nature to support disabled military veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Our mission is to provide these service members with opportunities to immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscapes of Wyoming, fostering camaraderie, adventure, connection and personal renewal. We offer a diverse range of outdoor activities tailored to accommodate various abilities and interests, ensuring that every veteran, active-duty service member and their family, can fully engage with nature and rediscover connections and their sense of purpose.
The Wilderness Healing Project is a non-profit based in Wyoming. Our organization brings veterans, active-duty military members, and their families to Wyoming to participate in an array of activities that focus on healing and redefining purpose. Through our program participants connect with nature, themselves, and their families. We offer summer trips that include tranquil nature activities, back county big game hunting, and equine therapy. All with the goal of connecting the participant to purpose. Our program is designed to build a community for participants and is not a one and done service. We work to provide ongoing support for participants.
