Northbrook Veterans Center will assist local veteran organizations in their continued mission to educate the residents and children of Northbrook about the existence of and mission of our Veterans and what they have accomplished and sacrificed so that we can all enjoy the freedom that we enjoy today. Examples of which are the Memorial Day Parade in which we distinguish and respect in solemn reverence the fallen, Independence Day which is a celebration of our birth as a free nation, and hosting our Veterans Day assembly and joining the various schools which invite us to their assemblies.

The Northbrook Veterans Center was created to assist with coordinating Veteran related matters within the Village of Northbrook involving the American Legion Post 791 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10236. It will assist in educating the public to elevate awareness of our Veterans and their outreach efforts within and extending outside of our Village.
